ConverterHub is built around the principle that tools should work for you — not harvest your data. This policy explains what little we collect and why.
1. Data We Collect
ConverterHub does not require an account and does not collect personally identifiable information. Basic anonymous analytics (page views, country, browser) may be collected via a privacy-first analytics provider to help us understand usage patterns. No personal data is sold or shared with third parties.
2. File & Input Processing
Image, PDF, and text tools process your data entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript APIs (Canvas, PDF.js, FileReader). Your files and inputs are never transmitted to our servers.
3. Currency Rates & API Keys
Live currency exchange rates are fetched from Open Exchange Rates using an API key you optionally configure. The result is cached in your browser's localStorage for resilience. No financial data is stored on our servers.
4. Cookies & Local Storage
We use localStorage only to cache currency exchange rates on your device. No tracking cookies are placed. You can clear your browser storage at any time to remove all cached data.
5. Third-Party Links
Some pages may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their policies separately.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of ConverterHub after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
